over 15 years. She believes in a holistic approach to treatment and has a background and passion for Nature Therapy which also includes Ayurvedic teachings and lifestyle changes. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2000 with a bachelors in psychology, worked full time for 3 years at Hampstead Psychiatric Hospital on the children's unit and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in 2004. She worked for over 10 years as a clinical therapist in a community mental health setting primarily with children, adolescents and families. In August 2014, she left community mental health to open her private practice called, Mind, Body, Spirit Counseling in Derry, NH. “I believe that we all have a purpose in life. I believe that we were born with an intuition as a means of helping us make decisions regarding our health and well-being. I believe that we learn through life and childhood experiences to ignore our intuition in order to meet our culture and society's expectations of what is "normal". I believe that by learning how to balance the mind, body and spirit we can gain wisdom and knowledge about ourselves, understanding of our struggles and therefore find a life of balance, peace and happiness.” Katie uses a variety of techniques and interventions to accomplish this goal depending on the age and goals of each client.
Christina Dunn has been a registered nurse for 24 years with extensive experience in a variety of health care settings caring for individuals across the lifespan. She graduated from Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 2000. As a new graduate she worked at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on medical/surgical/telemetry units and in the ICU for 3 years before moving to Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA where she worked for 10 years in the MICU and on the critical care float team. After 10 years of providing ICU level care Christina experienced burnout and made the decision to leave bedside nursing with the hope and faith of prioritizing her own health

and family. During this pause from nursing Christina went through a challenging season as she began to truly learn what it means to take care of herself while caring for others. The concept of self care was a completely foreign one and this was the beginning of a personally transformational journey requiring confronting mindsets and belief systems. After this break from the bedside in 2014 she began to transition into school health as a school nurse as a substitute nurse in Windham NH and in 2020 she was offered a position in a very large elementary school while pursuing her BSN. Over the past 10 years Christina has gained a greater understanding of just how common and difficult it is in today's culture for individuals to take care of themselves physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually and developed a passion to assist others in areas of their own personal growth, health and wellness. In 2023 Christina began pursuing special training in the art and science of nurse coaching. She received her national board certification in nurse coaching in the Spring of 2024. Nurse coaching is a nursing specialty that focuses on a holistic approach to health and wellness. It is a collaborative process in which the coach and the client considers the health of the whole person, mind, body, spirit, emotions, environment, values, purpose, and seeks to improve health and elevate quality of life. The role of a nurse coach is to help you see what you cannot see on your own, to elicit focus, clarity, and a new perspective so that you can reach an personally optimal state of health and wellness.
